Last week twelve pupils (Y12) from The Thomas Hardye School visited Precision Acoustics along with their Science teachers. They’ve had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the life cycle of a product in our company, from manufacturing and assembly, through quality testing to calibration, all through a simple example of building airplane model kits together. The pupils also had the opportunity to learn about different routes into higher education such as apprenticeships and universities with our STEM ambassadors Marina Bakaric and Timothy Tan.
One of the pupils said:
“I really enjoyed the tour and how (…) the roles of apprenticeships and undergrads [were explained]. There is not often a lot of information surrounding how companies treat the different qualifications so the clear and well-presented information you gave was very appreciated.”
