Represented by Dr Andrew Hurrell and Jess Dendura, we recently attended a conference at Le Studium, Loire Valley Institute for Advanced Studies and Inserm Research in Orléans, France.
The two-day event, with speakers from around the world, saw a coming together of industry specialists, discussing recent advances in the development and application of acoustic bubbles in therapy. Although the use of microbubbles has become common in ultrasound diagnostics, they are not that often seen in therapeutic applications.
As a recognised leader in the field of ultrasound technology diagnostics, we attended to demonstrate our R&D expertise with needle hydrophones, transducers and membrane technology and to show how they can apply to cavitation technology.
