Precision Acoustics supplies HIFU transducers for use in medical research. These 60mm diameter transducers with centre frequency at 1MHz are capable of producing acoustic power of at least 85W. They have a focal length of 75mm and combined with a focal area of less than 5mm2 produce focal intensities in excess of 1700 W/cm2
